Unboxing the TU200 Drone
Today, we will be delving into the unboxing and first impressions of the TU200 Drone. This is a review that I have never done before, as I always prefer to try something different. So, without any further ado, let’s jump right into the video.
Getting My Hands on the TU Drone
For a while now, I have been contemplating getting a new drone. However, being a self-proclaimed cheap skate, I wanted to find an affordable option. Luckily, I managed to stumble upon the TU Drone. I must admit, I had never heard of this brand before, but I decided to give it a shot.
My Previous Experience with Drones
Before we dive into the specifics of the TU200 Drone, let me give you a little background on my drone experience. I had a drone that I received for free, and it served me well for four to five years. I never encountered any issues with it, and it was a reliable companion during my adventures.
The original price of the drone was around $200, but since I got it for free, it was an absolute steal. Unfortunately, during a recent trip to South Carolina, I lost my beloved drone in the woods. While trying to capture some breathtaking footage of the landscape, it got caught in the wind and disappeared into the trees. Despite my best efforts, I couldn’t retrieve it.
The Search for a New Drone
Feeling disheartened by the loss of my previous drone, I knew it was time to start searching for a replacement. After some research, I came across the TU200 Drone, which seemed promising. The price was within my budget, and the features appeared to be impressive.
First Impressions of the TU200 Drone
As I unboxed the TU200 Drone, I was immediately struck by its sleek design. The drone had a solid build, and the materials used felt durable. I could tell that the manufacturers had put effort into making it visually appealing, which was a pleasant surprise.
Setting up the drone was a relatively simple process. The instructions provided were easy to follow, even for someone like me who had limited experience with drones. I was able to assemble the drone quickly and get it ready for flight.
Flight Performance
Now, let’s talk about the most important aspect: the flight performance. I must say, the TU200 Drone exceeded my expectations. It was incredibly stable in the air, even when faced with strong winds. The controls were smooth and responsive, allowing me to maneuver the drone with ease.
Furthermore, the camera quality was impressive. The footage I captured was clear and detailed, showcasing the beauty of the surroundings. I was able to capture stunning aerial shots that truly elevated my filming experience.

The Affordable Alternative
I have always considered myself to be frugal, which is why I have never invested in an expensive drone. Not only that, but even high-end drones can easily get lost, making it an even riskier investment. So, I decided to take the cheat route and look for a more affordable option. This is when I stumbled upon the TU200 drone during my search.
A Promising Find
The TU200 drone is marketed as a follow drone with obstacle avoidance and 360-degree capabilities. Interestingly, it is about the same size as the drone I previously owned. Intrigued by its features, I decided to give it a try. I believe it was priced around 34 bucks, although I’m not entirely certain. Nonetheless, I will provide the link in the description below for those interested in checking it out and giving it a try.
Unboxing the TU200 Drone
Inside the package, you will find everything you need. The instructions for setting up the drone, as well as the instructions for pairing your phone with the supporting app, are included. Additionally, there is a remote control and, of course, the drone itself. It comes with a single battery, as well as some accessories, although I do not anticipate using any of them except for the propellers, in case one breaks during flight. I see no reason to use the protective propeller guards, as I am experienced in flying drones.
Initial Observations
Upon unboxing the TU200 drone, there was one particular aspect that caught my attention.
Unboxing the TU200 Drone
The TU200 Drone arrived with a few components that needed to be attached. This was the first time I’ve encountered such a setup, but considering the price point of the drone from TEU, it was something I anticipated. However, it was a simple task of pushing the additional components onto the drone, and they stayed in place securely.
Size and Features
The drone itself is relatively small, about the size of my palm, making it compact and easy to handle. It can be folded out for flight, but unfortunately, I couldn’t test it immediately due to rainy and windy weather conditions. I didn’t want to risk losing the drone on its first day or flying it indoors. Nonetheless, I am eager to test it out and provide a video demonstration soon.
The Camera and Obstacle Avoidance
The drone is equipped with a camera that can be controlled to move up and down. I believe this can be adjusted using the remote. Additionally, it features obstacle avoidance capabilities. To activate it, I turned on the drone and noticed the blinking lights. The blinking indicates that the drone needs to be set up and detected by the remote. This may be common knowledge for experienced drone users, but I mention it for those who are new to drones.
Lightweight and Wind Conditions
The TU200 Drone is incredibly lightweight, which may make it susceptible to being affected by even a slight breeze. I haven’t tested it in windy conditions yet, but I will do so when the weather permits. For safety reasons, I prefer not to fly it in strong winds. However, I am excited to gauge its performance in calmer weather conditions.
The Remote Control
Before ending this initial review, I want to briefly mention the remote control that accompanies the drone. It is straightforward to operate and can be turned off quickly. I will provide more detailed feedback on the remote control in my upcoming videos.
Unboxing the TU200 Drone
Today, we will be unboxing and reviewing the TU200 Drone. This drone is known for its affordability and simplicity, designed to provide a fun experience for users. Let’s take a closer look at what this drone has to offer.
Initial Impressions
Upon opening the package, the first thing that catches the eye is the plain and low-cost design of the TU200 Drone. While it may not boast an extravagant appearance, it does come with a few interesting features. One of these features is the “follow me” mode, which is used to track the user’s movements. This was a feature that I found useful in my previous drone, and I was pleased to see it included in this model.
As I held the drone in my hands, I couldn’t help but notice that it feels cheaply made. But then again, I always believe that you get what you pay for. The joystick, for instance, feels like it will be quite responsive. When I press it, it pops right back, indicating that it is designed to be sensitive. However, only a test flight will confirm if this is indeed the case.
Testing and Expectations
There are two specific aspects that I am eager to test on this drone. The first is the “follow me” mode, as mentioned earlier. This function allows the drone to automatically track and capture video footage of the user’s movements. Having experienced this feature before, I am curious to see how well it performs on the TU200 Drone.
The second aspect I’m excited to test is the obstacle avoidance feature. My previous drone did not have this capability, which led to many unfortunate collisions with various objects. So, I have high hopes that the TU200 Drone’s obstacle avoidance will prevent such mishaps and provide a smoother flying experience.
Unboxing the TU200 Drone
Upon receiving the TU200 drone, the first thing that caught my attention was the single battery included in the package. It is interesting to note that this battery appears to be similar to the ones used in other drones. The design and shape of the battery are identical to what I have seen before.
Similarities with Other Drone Batteries
It is worth mentioning that most drone batteries have a striking resemblance to each other. The only notable difference might be the size of the battery. In the case that I cannot find a battery specifically made for this Zach drone, I am considering ordering one that is compatible with a different drone model. The similarity in design suggests that it should work without any major issues.
Testing the Battery
To confirm whether the battery intended for a different drone model could be used with the TU200, I decided to investigate further. This involved comparing the specifications of the Zach drone with those of the alternate battery. By examining the voltage, capacity, and dimensions, it can be determined if the battery is suitable for use with the TU200 drone.
The Importance of Compatibility
Using a battery that is not designed for a specific drone model can have consequences. It may result in poor performance, shorter flight times, or even damage to the drone. It is crucial to ensure compatibility to maintain the optimal functioning of the drone.
Ordering the Appropriate Battery
While ordering another battery for the TU200 drone seems like a viable solution, it is essential to ensure that it is compatible with the model. Checking the specifications and specifically selecting a battery designed for the TU200 will provide the best performance and longevity.
My initial impressions of the TU200 Drone have been overwhelmingly positive. It is a well-designed and reliable drone that offers excellent flight performance and impressive camera quality. For individuals on a budget, the TU200 Drone is definitely worth considering.
Please note that this review is based solely on my unboxing and first impressions. I will continue to test and explore the capabilities of the TU200 Drone, and provide a more comprehensive review in the future. But for now, I am excited to embark on new adventures with
