Just got my M6 few days ago. What I found out is 18.5V 3.5A adapter cannot make it works right. It can't charge(Too low power input warning) and IR measuring function shows nothing. Changing to 19V 6.15A adapter and the charging and IR measurement work! PS. the 3.5A adapter works fine with ISDT C608 for years! I guess this M6 needs more Amp to fully operate. Moreover, by using the 19V6.15A adapter, discharging takes forever. I was discharging many 4S 1500mah and 1800mah by using 3 different chargers, M6 is one of them. The first charger does 0.3A, the second charger does 0.6A and M6 does 0.4A discharge. I got 10 4s batteries. After all batteries were discharged, from 4.20 to 3.85V per cell, M6 didn't even finish discharging its first 4s 1500mah(Still around 3.99V per cell)! I gotta check the M6 charging function time again in a few days. There are 3 possibilities in my mind
1. A crap charger
2. It needs higher power supply than its minimum stated to fully perform.
3. It is only fully perform with Lipo power input, not AC-DC power supply.
I gonna test more and review it on my channel.
core trash. bearings started to scream after a few days, it's loud as heck and a capacitor smoked also after a few packs. don't buy this crap, it only looks good, that's all!
Love videos of the highest quality and your's are at the top.
The problem with the M6 and M8 is charger, which he balances during the entire charging cycle. This is not necessary and therefore the charging process takes much longer. You can see it, if the cell number is highlighted, then the voltage value is frozen during balancing. I can not recommend the device for charging. The device should charge without balancing until the battery is almost full, and then balance. This is what all my other chargers do (ISDT, HOTA, …)
Very nice little field charger! I would love to see this as a built-in AC version, non-wall wart…lol
That’s a nice charger
New guy here. Just received my X9 Lite looking to get 18650 batteries and wondering how I should go about charging. Can I get the M6 and a board to charge 18650 batteries along with what will eventually be 2s batteries for my Toothpick? Hope that makes sense. Thanks is advance.
Really nice little charger, Albert! Great review! ?
I was thinking about getting the M8, but I guess this one would be even better! ?
I've been using this for over a week, on my 5-inch packs! It works great and I can take it with me! I love this charger. it does charge my packs to 4.21 .. is that normal? btw the first thing I did when I got this charger, is going to settings and turn off the beeping lmao!
Major problem with the M8 charger that I found, is that if you unplug your power supply from the charger and accidentally leave your battery plugged into the charging port, it will drain and kill your battery that you just charged.
unbelievable, i have one of these and I didn't notice the little pull outs on the back of it.
well you live and learn. bugger it i am going to watch this whole video to see what else i am clueless about 🙂
I like how small it is!!!!
Great Review!!!!!
