Great review! Have you had any luck removing that bobbing in post? maybe After effects or something?
Will this work on the Mavic 2 pro?
did they ever make a One hand handle for the mavic 😀 would be nice
Why isn't there a Phantom 4 version???
At 2:36 you control gimbal with your finger. When I try, the joysticks popup on screen. Can someone explain?
has anyone tried this with the mavic 2?
question?? it tells me no internet connection?? do i have to run the hotspot on my IPhone 6s??
The bobbing is because you haven't bent your knees while shoot with mavic pro . I hope we will get a nice smooth footage when you bend your knees while take a shot .
I love the Katana it's a brilliant design and adds a lot of value for photography/videography assignments! Quick question: Can I use Mavic's 'Active Track' functionality with the Katana system? Thanks.
Thanks for the info – great video's. Could you add some weight to the bottom of the Katana to help dampen the bobbing?
Hi Ed, thanks so much for this great instructional video!
Great video My friend You save my money.
great info! thx!
Since the Air now has the better camera, is there a Katana-like product in the works for it?
nice review, have you tried their other product https://www.polarprofilters.com/collections/dji-mavic-air-filters-and-accessories/products/dji-spark-phone-mount
Great video. Using this with a Ninebot Mini Plus would be great!!
You’re an honest reviewer. Glad I found this channel
Great video, the footage was really useful. I'm with you on the bouncing it isn't great, PolarPro should work on that and then I might buy one. Until then I'll keep to low flying with my Mavic.
Why not just fly the bloody thing?
I wonder whether it would be worth making a DIY version that allows you to bolt a small dumbbell eight underneath the Mavic. That may help with the bobbing, and you could adjust the weight as a tradeoff between steadiness and arm strain.
Glide cam has more stable footage than the katana.
Use a thick lanyard connected to the katana and wear like a necklace. Your strength and the weight distribution can stabilize the bobbing when walking.
Boarding looked great. I’m always on my dervish Sama
have you used this shooting from a moving car – out the window?
