My Fairy arrived with a major error on the main PCB, causing the battery to oveheat and destroy itself immediately after inserting. After repairing the battery for several times I opened up the Fairy to discover the real error on the PCB: A huge blob of solder caused a short on the battery. After having removed the blob, the Fairy flew fairly well, but remains quite unstable and uncontrollable under certain circumstances.Also, the Fairy comes pre-configured to connect to a 5G wireless device, and it can be switched to 2.4G, but only if you have a 5G wireless device, which is a perfect catch-22 if all you have is a 2.4G wireless phone and tablet. Default 2.4 would have been a good idea ;)The picture quality is ok, and is what I expected for such a cheap drone, nothing more, nothing less.
This is my first drone ever. Nicely built and very responsive during flight. A little wobbly when there's a little bit of a breeze. Video is very crisp and clear. It's not very responsive though once battery is down to under 30%. GPS works great and the app and controller works as stated. This is a great drone for the price. Giving it 4 stars just because at lowe battery, it seems to lose control.
it is small, portable, Sklopivi, easy to fly indoor or outdoor. it runs right out of the box. it flyies smoothly, and easily. it woyld have been quite handy if, a second battery and a set of props was inside the box, but as it was perfectly described it wasn't. still i am very happy with my purchase.
