I've never owned a Holy Stone quad, but maybe I should. You guys had a lot of fun with this thing. Pretty good performer for a inexpensive toy drone, and a decent camera also. It's almost flying season in NJ now, i can't wait to get back in the air.

Looks like a good toy drone and another nice video. Nothing to do with this video got a question. Since you are 1 of 2 people I understand when you explain how you do something on You Tube. Through an auction on E-Bay I got a DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Now here is my question. Would you be willing to help me if I had a problem and if so how can I get in touch with you? I watch at least 20 videos of different problems an not one does this 70 year old understand. Hope I didn't get in over my head.

I got one of these and it’s great. Also review a sjrc z5 and sjrc f11. Great toy grade gps drones. F11 is brushless and not so toy grade. Better quality. Great job

Went to look at the specs for it at Amazon's site. Pretty sure it won't do 18 minutes or 300m range. The camera is wide angle, meaning 'Fish Eye' (120 deg.) However, it says that its adjustable down to 75 deg.? That would eliminate Fish Eye, if true. Having Brushed motors is pretty short sighted at this day & age. Eric's yard looks like a logging camp! Your weather looks inviting. We had 3 inches of heavy wet snow this morning with temps about 30 deg. F. Should all melt by Wed. though. Looking forward to the full review, but hard to get excited over a brushed UAV at $170. I will say that it is WAY better than the dreaded FAIRY! Thanks for sharing an 'Honest' Preview! POW!
Looks good DJ! I think this is same drone as the Hobby Tiger Ranger I reviewed last year except the Holy Stone controller looks different. I like the controller with yours a lot! Good job on the flight!

The Holy Stone pricing structure always appears to be on the high side, I bought my grandson a SJRC 70W for £79, very similar to the Syma, if I’m not mistaken Holy Stone do a badged S70W version that sells for a ridiculous price ( brushless country) it’s a beauty for the money.There are so many choices out there for the beginners now , I just hate to see people getting ripped off.
