FORD RAPTOR F150 (Stock) on the Rocks – 8th scale Trail Truck “Traction Hobby” | RC ADVENTURES
I took this chance to revisit my rock pile with the brand-new Ford F150 Raptor, developed by Grip Hobby. This vehicle is 1/8 scale in dimension (slightly bigger than 1/10 scale) and I am interested to examine its center of mass, suspension performance, tire step, and also wheel rate. The rocks I am scaling in this video clip are a mix certainly sandstone, and smooth river stone. For most of this video, I am driving with one hand on the controller, and also a large video camera in the other. I am also telling. while wheeling this vehicle for the extremely first time. I have a feeling the performance of this vehicle is far more after that I had the ability to demonstrate today. however, what we did complete in this film, is remarkable!
I got my very first 1/8 scale machine at. The first was a jeep, made by the very same company "Traction Pastime". I know extremely little about the business. aside from the truth that my very first jeep is still going strong. and the product appears decent. I haven't had any type of issues so far with that device. and also I question this Ford F150. Its a various design – and more of a "basic" device. It somehow emerges as extremely sturdy, with not a whole lot to break. Its not overly heavy, yet feels durable. The part of the body is lexan, as well as is installed bu magnets in addition to two concealed blog posts you do not see. It also has 2 velcro strips hanging on the body firmly to the side structure. The read "cage" part of the vehicle is not conveniently detachable – and also produces a wonderful roll security for the vehicle. It is a light weight, thick, plastic cage – held together with screws.
I was amazed at seeing some locations on my rock stack that was quickly dominated by this vehicle. Areas that my 1/10th scale vehicles might not go. This is the benefit of the 1/8th scale world for me. going MORE areas. Doing Larger Challenges. Hell, I would love a 1/5th scale spider. or risk I desire. 1/4 range? But till then, I will be all over the 1/8 scale tracking. it will certainly create a better wintertime time for me.
