Captain.thanks for the tip,I made up an extender based on what you showed ,I was maxing out at 3000ft , now I am out to 4600ft with the help of the extender but on th first run with extender I choked and returned home at 4000 ft with no problems
so I'll try to improve the design ,nice one .

I’ve seen these for the Mavic and wondered if they would help in my situation. I don’t have a problem with distance but I do have a problem with trees reducing signal. For instance if I take off from my house which has several large maples and fly 1000 ft or so and drop down low to a field I’ll start to lose signal and have to climb up to regain. I know getting up higher would help but I don’t really want to fly from atop of my house. Thanks, learning a lot from your videos.
If I calibrate everytime I fly is that a bad thing? I'll be flying in Raeford NC and figure doing it everytime couldn't possibly be a bad habit to get in. Thank you for any help
Thank you, sir! I agree I won't be really needing to travel that far but this is a good little gadget. Someone might jump on this and create plastic version so you should apply for a patent on this. 🙂
