3 yrs later & XK still not listening. Manual somewhat states, for 3D refer to a simulator. Thats why i got it , to be THE simulator. 🙂 Great outside but battery dont last, when you push it fast. Found the wlt v911S 250mah batteries fits right & cheaper than XK's. Good flight, just subscribed. ?
I highly agree about the manual from xk I recently bought the k100 falcon 3d micro heli and the x130t 3d micro drone I ton them both on the k6 tx the upgraded hobby grade tx I and I've pretty much had to get all my info and tx set up from YouTube guys like you! Great reviews keep them coming I'm considering buying this little guy to add to my xk micro's
Flight time?
Range?
u have to reverse thotle on it
HELP!!!!Can i use futaba s-fhss for this quad???
Did you not know about the zero throttle? In 3D acro? I'm looking to try this one and wondering if it or the X201? I would like to have the first X201 but now have to get the no acro version but which is best prob brushless version eh? Thanks, Turbo.
Are there ever going to be any new small rtf tri-copters with brushless motor or drones/uav (under faa weight) with new mechanical features coming out soon? Hopefully soon, cuz I'm kind of getting bored of the drones/uav/quadcopters that are all kind of the same and lacking new features. For example; retractable landing gears and tilt motors are the only once that different from the other RC uav's. But, are not under faa weight.
Please! help spread the word to the RC companies for more great flying experience:)
Excellent small Quadcopter!
Doesn't appear to compete with the Inductrix or Whoop as they are known for not cutting the flyer…jus' sayin'
When flying in acro on grass, make sure to cut throttle on the TX. Lost two motors because when flying inverted, the only way to cut throttle is by the throttle hold switch on the x7 TX.
Pretty sure you 'powered into the ground' because you didn't reverse throttle. Throttle mode is quite different in acro
mode!
Great video as I'm looking for a outdoor mini whoop alternative!!
How to do a manual flip? Is it only in Arco mode.?
Looks like XK is having the best blowout sale they have ever had to date. Great opportunity to pick up what you've had your eye on for cheap: goo.gl/I663h7
sorry I know this one will. I ment to ask about the xk x250 alien. if my x7 TX will work with th xk x250 alien.. thanks..
hey, great video as always, thanks and keep em coming. question. will my x7 transmitter work with this unit. the x7 came with my xk x251. thanks
the fin on the bottom is so you can start flying upside-down
I'm wanting to learn how to fly acro with no self-leveling doing flips and don't want to risk messing up my expensive racing quads would you recommend this for practice or something else?
hi there, could i use the transmitter from the x250 alien? they look exactly alike but the fact that the alien tx uses the wl toys protocol not futaba might pose a problem. thanks a million.
I use Hel-Max 1sq props for this one – they are slightly larger and more durable, less sharp.
Ordered one today. Can't wait.
if you have the x250 and you buy the x100 bnf they will not bind I have two x250s and none of my x4 transmitter's bind because they are not ftr
would my xk250 controller work with this quad?
surely you have to set up the quad according to the book if you want land where you take off from and do "follow me" mode.
what is 6g mode?
thanks Dustin, after I watched a woman do that build I said to myself I think I'll try the Nighthawk 200 for my very first build. I bought a Taranis Plus now I have to get all the parts for the Nighthawk. Already have all the tools.
You should try the nano qx 3d I'ts the balls!
I'm seeing an off load voltage of 3.1v or 3.2v after a flight, which seems way low. Also when I did a first time motor break in the CCW motors wouldn't spin until I applied about 20% throttle, and then required even more to keep spinning, with more than 30% required after about 2 minutes. The CW motors were spinning with just 5% throttle. Most of my other micro brushed quads only required 7-8% throttle for a break in, and show a no load voltage of 3.7v or so at/after LVW/LVC. Has anyone else seen this type of behavior on the X100? As far as I can tell from my initial flight the quad seems to fly fine in 6G other than a little wobble in hard turns.
Cool looking little quad, I like the lights. Thanks for the review.
