For anyone who has wondered the FC and ESC from the Rex 80 are awesome for toothpick builds. Spedix has a great rep for making high quality yet inexpensive electronics . The 2 boards are linked via cable instead of pins, and even tho its 20×20 the 2 boards come in at 5.83 grams with the cable. Very light

Nice flying! I think the braces on back are pretty useless unless you are flying backwards. Also, it's a shame the motors don't have the screw holes to fit other props…

I was curious how the Skystars toothpick would turn out. Can you tell me if this was any louder than others in the class? It may have been your static microphone placement etc, it sounded louder but perhaps it actually isnt Thanks!

Great video, Albert! Dang, I can't decide if I like this frame or the turbobee frame for a custom build. If I did this frame, would removing the top plate and just running the 3d fin ruin rigidity? Thanks

Hi Albert! Would you mind sharing the pids? I just built my first toothpick today, also using BF3.5 like you said (you're totally right – forget 4.0 with toothpicks especially). I just took mine for a spin, and it has a little too much propwash. Yours looked like it was on rails!
In really like this toothpick era I have always liked flying micros more the 5 inch
