Very nice detailed review, Vic, and I do like (if I heard correctly) that this new breed of CPL's actually rotate. How many pilots bought these for other drones in the past, not realizing that they are "polarizing" filters and need proper orientation to light source in order to have any particular intended effect. Still, I'm not a fan of CPL's on drones (or handheld cameras, for that matter). Once the effect is baked in it is one of the most difficult image alterations to adjust, remove, or fix in any way later on. Also, I might like to see those reflections on water, or saturate a blue sky in post. To that effect, there are many ways in post to remove highlights and add color and contrast to video, especially if you shoot flatter initially. For stills, I have even more latitude using a number of post processing applications. I side a bit with Fred Hagan on the topic of polarizers. He has some good content out on YT, still, I believe.
Good in depth review.
