Isn't the same camara as Falkor 1? 4:3 has a bigger vertical FOV because the sensor is 4:3, when you switch to 16:9 the frame crops top and bottom so it looks like 16:9.
What goggles were you using and antennas?

apart from the lower res of analog, it really looks good. will be interesting to see how good DJI digi sys will sell – or if most users stay on the budget route and try to get the best just out of analog. but one thing is clear: if DJI, with all their R&D money, marketing and size – if they fail in HD FPV systems – there will be a long break until the next company will try this for our little FPV community market 🙂

Hi pids media thanks for the reply. I want to use the camera with a digital DVB-S system where the 1200 TVL can show the difference. Using a CRO to count the lines is good, i’ll get the Rigol out. Why the drop in line resolution with analogue commercial TV.

Only negative, is it appears to be over-sharpened, the fence posts and the plane shadow show that up. Otherwise, totally usable.
The mat may have changed colour, or rather, be missing a colour, if the lighting in your workshop has an output dip at a frequency the cameras pixels are sensitive at, while the human eye is seeing light either side of that dip.
I have 2 points;
Foxeer. My Favourite camera since starting in fpv. They do exactly what your told they will do, dont find that with others.
Has anyone else noticed the price hike in the last 12 months of RC gear? Unless I am wrong even the older equipment has jumped markedly in price.
Interested to know if it's just me or if pricing for cameras and FC and other must have have increased while VTX and servos has either reduced or stayed they same.

I have a question plse…I see the voltage is displayed on the screen. What would be a the minimum voltage where the drone will be safe to use..3s battery..

i really liked the falkor mini, but i broke it somehow by changing settings. i think the eagle micro is great but i liked the falkor enough to give it a second chance and maybe buy another one. also super interested to see the dji goggles with an av analogue input, i think the eagle micro might win on detail.
I wish someone would develop a DVR that has better resolution that won't break the bank. Surely it's possible.

Not to shabby! I get the feeling that analog will become to poor mans fpv system in the future as the high prices of new HD systems is probably going to be high for quite sometime.
Foxeer Falkor is #1 analog cam for me ATM, I need to test Predator V4 tho 😉 <3

It seems Bruce that a lot of the sellers are fudging the 1200 TVL claim, more likely 720 to 1000 TVL. Is there a way you can confirm the TVL claim of this camera. John
Nice review. The RunCam Eagle 2 pro was my favourite cam for freestyle until I tried a Falkor, WDR as good as the Eagle with punchier contrast.
That looks really good. The new range of foxeer cameras seems to be up there with the best and gives the FPV user a wider choice of cameras

I have 2 of the Foxeer Arrow mini Pro's and the picture on them is so much nicer than my Swift 2. They are only £18 each and great that I can see the Lipo voltage too as even though its not the most accurate its better than not knowing. Nice vid Sir Bruce 🙂

thanks, from video it's the best analog footage i've seen when it comes to colors! I'd be stoked to see you test AV-IN of DJI HD goggles, to let the rest of us know if it would be usable with our toothpick-sized drones
