I haven’t done a toy drone review in a while, so i’m very excited about this one. It has some bright leds on. It flies great indoors and there’s lots of fun. So stay tuned and we’ll check it out: Glazba, Glazba. If you’re new to the channel, i hope you’ll hit subscribe. I cover a lot of camera drones, fpv radilice, uh and toy drones, and this is definitely the last category. This is the tom’s on and you know, it’s kind of funny. I think they might be ripping off somebody’s logo with this logo, but the toms on drone and what’s funny on the on the instructions. It actually calls it the flying pig. I don’t know if you can read that, but they call it the flying pig don’t know why, because it doesn’t look anything like a flying pig, but it’s kind of a funny name comes with the instructions uh. I think this had a cable in it and here’s that cable. This is a usbc cable that is used to charge. The batteries does come with two batteries, and i will say i really like the fact that these batteries charge directly via usbc. There is no charger required, just plug the usbc cable directly into the battery and plug the other end directly into a usb outlet and you’re good to go they’ll charge and it comes with two batteries. I love that comes with this cute little remote control, Uh. You know some people aren’t fans of these tiny things.
I have flown a lot of drones that use this little remote, a lot of toy drones, and this actually works pretty well. If you kind of get used to it so yeah there’s that this i think, takes three aaa batteries. Uh let’s see if i can pull it out yep there we go three aaa batteries, go into this little toy remote and it does not have a screw. That holds this back cover, on which i really like, because i hate having to have a screwdriver to undo this back cover and they generally don’t fall off. So i’ve got that there here is the actual drone itself it’s, just this little guy great for indoor flight and what’s really cool about it is again it has these bright leds. That light up the propellers and we’ll show that in a minute comes with four spare propellers looks like they just slide on and off. If you happen to lose one so let’s do this i’ve already flown this a little bit so let’s fly it a little bit more right here and see how it does i’ve got these two batteries charged. So the battery just slips into the back and then there’s a power button here on the top hold that down. Oh look at those leds and you want to have it on a flat surface when you fire it up because that calibrates it properly. So it knows what flat looks like if you’re holding it sideways when you turn it on, it will think that’s flat and so it’ll always fly to one side.
So now i’ve got the remote. You pull the sticks down and in to calibrate. So if you did happen to turn it on at an angle, you can put it on a flat surface, pull the sticks down and in and that little beep and blink indicates that you’ve calibrated the drone so that it will fly properly. There is a take off button here that when i push it, the props will spin up and take off there’s. Also three rates. I think top button right here turns the lights on and off on that side and on this side changes the rate so there’s, one beep is low rate, it’s going to be very docile, To je, not going to angle very much. Two beeps is a higher rate. It’S going to be a little more aggressive in its flight and three beeps is going to be the most aggressive, so let’s go ahead and take off and we’ll just hover here for a second and see what that’s, kao što je, Mislim, i’m in i think i’m in Uh all right now, i’m in the lowest rate, so i’m it’s going to be the most docile, so it gets easier to hover right here again. The left stick gives you your your power throttle up and down, and also your yaw, which is your spinning like that, and your right stick is front back left right, keeping in mind that if the drone is facing towards you left is right and right is left.
So right now it’s facing the camera away from me. So when i push this right, stick to the right, it goes to the right. If i were to spin it around 180 degrees and push the right stick to my right, it’s going to go left to its left from my left, it’s confusing anyway it’s based on which direction the drone is facing. Now it does have these little ducted propellers, which i think are going to be good for indoor flight, because if you hit yourself, it’s not going to hurt it’s just going to bounce off, keeps you nice and cool with a little breeze. But look at those lights. How cool is that i mean those just look: uh super super flashy and cool. Now it can do flips and the way you want to do a flip. Is you push the right stick in and then you tell it which direction you want to flip so i’m going to do it i’m, going to do a front flip and see if i can do it without hitting the table here and see if alex can catch It on camera Music, oh i’ll, do a left flip ready yeah, so basically it gives it a little bit of throttle automatically flips over and then catches itself at the bottom of the flip. Now right now, it also seems to have pretty good hover stabilization. I do think it has a bottom sensor for staying in one place, it’s kind of drifting to the left a little bit.
I don’t actually see um trim adjustments on here. Let me bring it down recalibrate one more time and then take it up again and see if it’ll stay in one place, a little better it’s doing a pretty good job of hovering. Don’T hit me in the eye buddy, so this would be great for a kid who’s learning how to fly a grown up, who’s learning how to fly because it doesn’t have gps, and so it forces you to kind of manage where it flies. You know it’s it’s not going to hold in one place super easily. You have to actually kind of always be adjusting it. You see i’m always just making those little adjustments to keep it in one place, which is good for your skills and also the fact that it um it might have headless mode but i’m, not in headless mode right now, but because i’m, not in headless mode. I have to learn that now, when i’m backwards right is left and left is right when it’s facing me and so that kind of helps me understand how line of sight flight goes, which is great for driving rc cars or flying an rc airplane or flying drones. So oftentimes with these toy drones, i have to look at the box to see what all the features are and on this one i think i’ve covered everything. The first one is pretty design. I like that it’s actually very true. It is a pretty design, even though they called it the flying pig flicker color light.
Sada, i think what they mean by that is the leds, change, color and that’s kind of cool. I don’t know that they actually flicker, although maybe they just did there but yeah. The lights are really nice uh 360 rotation, which i think they mean it does the flips, which is really cool headless mode. It does have headless mode i’m, gon na guess the way you put it in headless mode. I’Ll show you real, brzo. I haven’t read this but i’m. Pretty sure the way you’re going to put it in headless mode is you’re going to push the left stick down and now yeah. Now now it doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter which way it’s facing headless mode means that even if it’s facing me, if i pull, if i push the right, stick left, it goes left. If i push the right stick right, it goes right. I think the battery is getting low so in headless mode. It just goes. Whichever way you push the stick, but i don’t recommend flying in headless mode. It helps you form bad habits, honestly, Ja sam., going to take it out of headless mode and put it back into normal, so that it’s flying the right way, and i guess, when it’s in headless mode, it must blink see how it’s the red lights are. Blinking that’s telling me it’s in headless mode right now and then, when the red light stop blinking and it goes back to the normal whoa, the normal leds.
It kind of scared me there it it’s in regular mode. Also on the box. It says one key take off and landing, which is true, To je. This button right up here adjustable speed which, as i said, is the rates. So again, two clicks is medium rate. Three clicks is high rate, one click is low rate. Really low rate is kind of hard to fly in because it’s not very responsive. Ja, like medium or high most of the time indoors. One can be good, but generally i like it to be right there and then it says 100 metar, maximum control, distance that’s. A long way i don’t know how you’d ever fly this thing from 100 metara, because you probably couldn’t see it from that distance. But what they’re saying is this, even though this little remote control is small, it’s powerful, and it can give you a lot of range. If you notice this little thing on the bottom, this is actually a sensor that will help it hover in place, i, i believe uh. As i said before, this is not a camera. I believe this is actually also an obstacle avoidance sensor here in the front that uses infrared or something like that to help it avoid obstacles, so that’s kind of it, to je, the tamazon amazon available on amazon. Zapravo, a little toy drone the flying pig as they called it that has a pretty design and all those other features we talked about if you’re looking for a little line of sight flyer to give to a kid, or somebody like that, i think this is a Great option: it’s not over complicated it’s, pretty easy to learn.
It’S got these cool lights which make it fun to fly around indoors and such and it’s a great way to get your drone skills in order before you buy a more expensive drone.
