What motors are I'm this?
I modified my rear motors for better yaw. Here is mine with a gimbal on it. http://youtu.be/Ff0YJTBTOMY
hey joe buy a dji 450 mlite you can pick it up for 355 and that includes a gps awesome kit to get you started
hoverthings also released a flip fpv which is less prone to breakage
Waaah, you must have better stuff. I better quit…
We all have to start somewhere, and I've since moved on to better things.
And if by LR you mean long range? Who cares, it's a multirotor, how far are you going to get on 8 min flights. I've got planes for long range.
I thought so.
cool story.
I enjoy high RPM with small props, much more responsive. Check out my channel for my latest flying videos.
yep, just duct tape, then covered in shrink wrap
I might be getting one soon
I'm using 11 inch props on this thing. it's great! You guys should try 11 inch with 800 kv motors.
nice quad at everything that guys talking about I do it on my channel my current setup has naza gps and i have setup and tested return to home, range on my video system is 2km, using the goggles in my profile picture. $2500 for a good setup but beginner s can start as low as $800 ish
I have seen better frames…nothing special. Cool camo tho.
yeah i understand but ill tell you the ease of config is probably worth the time and money spent to some degree
im still trying to get my pid settings correct to fly mine using the naze32 ,im thinking on trying my KKv5.5 instead it has potentiometers to adjust without a PC connection between attemps
I started off in quads with the DJI ARTF kit. so thas why I use the Naza. If I had actually done reasearch, I would have gone with somthing more cost effective.
ahh ok seems to be the FC of choice
it would be nice to try one ..coins limited tho 🙂
I'm using the DJI Naza-M
what FC are you using?
my specs are:
– Hoverthings HT-FPV frame (black)
– Naze32 – Afroflight (latest)
– Turnigy 1600Mah 3cell (for testing,setup)
– Turnigy 30A Plush
– EMP N3536 910KV
– 10X4.5 Props (testing others 9×4.5)
– LED lights (red, green, white)
– Gopro Hero
– spektrum AR6100E
– 1.2ghz 1500mw VTX
– 1.2ghz Inverted V Ant
– 600 TVL Board Camera
– DC-168 12v 1800mah (for vtx & cam)
i opted for the naze32 but it takes a lot more config ..saving a huge chunk
Thats cool man. Though when I bought my GoPro it was brand new at $300. My LCD 11" TV was $90. Im using a Spektrum DX6i at $150. I got my HT-FPV when it was first out at $125. My motors are $24 each. Esc's $20 each. It just adds up a little more.
I did pick up the satellite receiver, but had not had a chance to get it installed yet. The orange Rx has given me zero issues, PLUS it has failsafe on ALL channels, somthing that only starts at the 7 series Spektrum RX's.
They're 8" Graupers reemed out to fit the DJI motors, and are impossible to find in my area.
They were super easy to balance and are SUPER stiff.
do you have a part list of everything you put on there
Definitely more my style.
Hey, this is Chris(owner of quad)
Just wanted to add;
-The frame is actually G10 fiberglass.
-The lens for the gopro is a LayerLens made by FPVmanuals.
awesome quad.
