GEPRC GEP-210 Quadcopter Frame Review from Banggood
That is the GEP-210 body made by GEPRC obtainable from Banggood. This seems to be a novel body with many options that I have never seen earlier than. The body …

2 washers per feet to elevate the PDB and the spacers to stack on top of it the FC: NordicBlue explained that : GEP210 Part II – after build thoughts
Betaflights f3 board is an FC and PDB all in one
battery on top gives better CG because it is on thrust line, Am I wrong? Motors, esc everything is below thrust line…
You can mount the vtx behind the fpv camera
I finally got around to building the 180 version of this – same 15mm component space, but shorter length leaves room for only a single stack. F3 FC + pdb/osd fit with a little lower board trimming. Would you tell us if your friend ever offered feedback about his completed build? Mine is remarkably twitchy on 3s with 1806/1400 DYS, even with 4030 props and after dumbing things down on both Taranis and the Cleanflight PIDs. This flies differently than anything else in my stable.
Have you tried shorter standoffs on the ls 210 to lower the center of gravity
ordered one from banggood few days back. thanks !!!
There are gaps in the side panels at each arm where the ESC wires are supposed to go…. Really big gaps…
LOL at the capacitor at the top corner of the LED board at 8:31…China ftw!
There must be a certain video transmitter that they want you to put in there. my guess would be one that has a metal case and a display with the channel number.
Also are these carbon fibre frames CF all the way through? Maybe do a continuity test with multi meter side to side
Perhaps you could email the maker to find out the configuration? This could potentially make this video a lot less confusing & helpful. Got that someone independent is making videos though
Hmmm. Like the frame mate. Sweet review too.
I have just completed mine. Its a nice layout. Not the easiest build. pcb is fitted inverted. Lay your pcb flat onto the frame but insulate it from the frame with insulation tape. You can fit your Naze inverted also but i found it easier to mount the naze the right way up. I soldered the pins on the Naze, so that they protruded out of the bottom of the naze. I used 5mm standoff spacers between the pcb and the naze.
Its a nice low rider quad. Lipo is nearer to C of G which aids rolls.
I couldn't figure out what those 2 brass bushes were for either but the 2 holes provided a good place to put a zip tie in to hold the vtx. Ts5828 vtx fits nice with a 90 degree Antenna adapter.
You can get a decent rc receiver in there aswell.
Only downside is that its a little bit heavy for a 210mm frame.
Are you going to do a build and flight review. I know you have a lot going on, but I like what you do Thanks
just got my frame today.. they changed the camera mount from metal to plastic and it doesn't work very well >:(
wow. they really truly actually indeed managed to make a frame that supports 30mm wide board cameras and not a 32mm Sony CCD. just wow. real well thought.
The naze and pdb both fit on the centre holes.
I once crashed my quad upside down. The battery hit the street. However I was able to quickly cut off the bad cell and have a good 2s remaining. That would not have been possible if my cells were sideways such as you have in yours in this video. Also putting the cells skinny side up means hitting the top of the battery crushes every single cell rather than the top one which is a larger chance for a fire. Learn from others mistakes= Win 🙂
Great Video Man….Channel subscribed. it´s funny hearing you explaining all these things… 😛
Awesome vid Travis! Was hoping you would review this frame, I've had my eye on it for a little while now.
Did you get this build done?
I have this frame in the box. Need to build it For the money and what you get can't be beat
Lisam LS210 the best yeah??
ordered myself one! buuut… they arent shipping till march
I get this Question from my wife to. How many Quads do you have now. Another ONE 🙂 Ya
The nylon washers are used as spacers between your PDB and your top plate and then use the black nylon spacers between your PDB and your FC. They'll fit inside the frame well 🙂 Cheers on your build! Don't forget to post your flight video!
As usual, nice video man! And nice voice as well, you'll definitely pass as voice-over for commercials!
P.S. you might want to check the Reptile Martian carbon frame as well, it's a clone of the popular Alien frames
Nice frame and great review as always! I think the little nylon washers could be for between the frame and pdb to get it super low down then have FC on top of it as normal.
Could you do a review on the Matek V3 pdb please? (Banggood -1019353)
As always, great video. Really like that frame. God bless
just finished the king kong 188 yesterday and have a zmr 160 on the way and now I want this frame!
Looks like a good frame!
I'd put the naze in the rear and pdb in the middle.
Very smart frame!
instead of using the plastic standoffs, use swashers and metal screws, that way you should be able to get both pdb and fc on top of each other 🙂
I hope they will make a GEP150, then it will be Awsome
Great review, but the pdb and fc can stack with fc no problem if you use the plastic washers. One guy from local club has this frame, he stacked them with no problem. Very good review!
where you buy your batt??
The catalystmachineworks 210-r is designed to have perfect CG, but it's expensive
Travis, your humor nails me every time and keeps me coming back. I had to chuckle a lot at your struggle to say "gee eee pee ar cee" though. Gotcha more than once.
Another quality review!
LOL!!!!
Awesome review! Super detailed, made me want to buy the frame. Keep up the good work!
The mounting holes of the PDB shouldn't be B+ or neg. so you could use metal bolts followed by a plastic washer. then the PDB followed by plastic standoff on top of that then FC. Should be ok. Some of these frames are too thick for standard standoffs. So metal bolts with nylon washers to keep the power board as low as possible, but still off the carbon, still allows stacking with the FC
I like this design of H quads. Similar to the DALRC DLseries. Dl220/180/215. Also the Emax 200 is that way as well. Single plate bottom. Some have side plates some do not. But they are all low slung. Kind of like a vortex pro has always been. The boxed in frames are super durable too.
