Make an arc with zip tie and hot glue it in both sides of the car, above the vtx, so it turns into a roll cage so it protects the antenna.

I FPV'd two different RC cars this year, both were toy grade cars, but both were quite a bit better than this one. the trouble I had was the video feed was so bumpy that it was really hard to enjoy the experience. the camera on that interceptor looks like it's rigidly mounted, and I had the cameras on my car's rigidly mounted too. Since you said you have FPV'd cars in the past, can you share what the secret is to getting a somewhat smooth video feed?
I've been wanting to make an RC car with mecanum wheels ever since I got a 3D printer last year, with the main controller coded properly the pitch/roll/yaw stick controls could move the vehicle just like it was a quad in angle mode (without need of throttle), allowing for some really precise & graceful maneuvers.
I bet a company like Emax could reprogram an AIO FC to drive the 4 brushless motors of a mecanum wheeled vehicle.
Kids would love it more if it had more power, they definately love to go up and down hills… Nice and pretty fast! TFS!
