DJI Μίνι 2 – My First Personal Drone!

Talking about my latest purchase uh, i got a drone for myself uh. This is my first actual personal drone. I’Ve used drones for work before in a professional environment. This is the first time i bought a drone for myself. Αυτό είναι, Φυσικά, the dji mini 2. Μουσική, and here it is just wanted to go over it really quick to talk about uh. Γιατί? I got it and why i think it’s the perfect drone for somebody who maybe works professionally and wants something they can just take with them and get some uh nice aerial shots without worrying about uh. You know bringing like a big drone or getting all that attention when you’re flying a big drone for work. Uh, the dji mini 2, is actually a perfect little drone for personal use. So i i grabbed one. This is the fly more kit. This is the box that it came in, and the back kind of shows you everything that’s in it kind of just covers everything you need comes in this bag, it’s actually really nice. I really like this bag it’s a dji man but it’s funny, because i only use this bag like once. I just pack the drone into my actual camera bag, but uh yeah fly more kit’s got everything you need mainly. It comes with three: it comes with three batteries: extra propellers uh. Those are like the main things you’d want for this drone it’s got like about 25 για να 30 minutes of fly time, so you want those extra batteries so inside the bag.

Kind of looks like this: we’ve got the drone here. We’Ve got a remote control and then uh, i put my propellers up here and uh extra batteries, so let’s just take everything out, Ας. Take it all out baby let’s. Take it out. This is the battery charger. Είναι., pretty cool it’s got like little slots. The best thing about this thing is you can charge all the batteries at once, so very handy press that just gives you your battery levels, τηλεχειριστήριο, boom, Είναι, πραγματικά αρκετά μεγάλο, Είναι, actually bigger than the drone. The nubs here they detach to the bottom little joysticks makes it compact look how small it is. Είναι., tiny of course, the main appeal of this drone is its size. Super small weighs under 250 γραμμάρια, which is it’s a big deal if you’re uh in the americas or uh, wherever you are mostly, this kind of flies under the radar of the rules or laws that you need to register your drone. But of course, don’t be an idiot. Don’T fly your drone in places with a ton of people or near busy streets and intersections, or anything like that. You know be smart when you’re flying a drone, don’t ruin it for the rest of us. I think that’s, one of the big things about drone flying is you still got ta, be very aware of your surroundings, especially this one. This one doesn’t have like the obstacle avoidance, so i actually actually crashed this.

Once already. I took it off uh and i wasn’t paying too much tension and it flew into some uh wires yeah, some some wires, those overhanging wires. You got ta, be careful and it just got caught up and fell. Luckily, it’s still fine. It broke like two propellers that’s. Why they give you extra propellers? So why did i get this drone? Φυσικά, the small size it’s awesome? I took it hiking i took it snowshoeing uh and this fits in your backpack it’s it’s, actually funny, because this remote’s actually bigger and like more cumbersome to take than the drone, and this is really what’s like weighing you down it’s the remote and yeah it’s. Like super quick, Είναι, actually quite quiet too, compared to the other drones so uh, i always get like really like self, conscious when i’m flying a drone, everybody’s like looking at you and stuff. So this is like much more discreet and uh it’s a lot easier to fly. It’S it’s, actually super responsive that’s. Γιατί? This is the drone i wanted, like the dji mini. One never spoke to me because of the i heard it’s just like bad in the wind. The the connection’s not very good this – has that occu sense, so it flies. The connection is really strong between the remote and the drone. I’Ve never had any problems with it kind of in the city, i’ve flown it out in the wild uh. The connection has always been really strong yeah and it performs really well in the wind, so i’ll show you some footage right now, Μουσική.

This is out in the mountains. I was just flying it and uh it handled the wind like a champ, so it was a super, strong connection and uh. I felt very confident flying this drone and like that’s the main thing when you want to get a drone, you want that confidence when you’re flying this drone and like the image quality is really good. I think in this small package, uh it’s a 4k camera. It does the 12 megapixel stills shoots. Raw jpegs it’s got some pretty built in modes for photos like panorama here’s the panorama that i took it’s, actually pretty cool it’s. Just like you just press the button and it just drone rotates, and it just takes photos for you yeah. It looks really good. I think it’s like a very standard image uh. One thing i wish i had is the option to give you different uh color profiles like uh, like they did with the mavic pros uh. I guess that’s like something um. The professionals would want, maybe not so consumer, because i i like a flatter profile. So i can just grade that in post, but the image coming out of this it’s it’s, δεν είναι κακό, είναι., it’s doable. I think it’s, like the best you’re gon na, get right now for something so small and compact and easy to use and like i’m fine with that it’s, not a work. Drone it’s a personal drone and you know having a lot of fun with it, so enjoy some more of this footage and uh yeah.
