This mini 2 is my first semi professional drone, which goes for about 500. The quality is leaps and bounds over the cheaper drones, i’ve purchased. In the past, the drone comes well packaged in a storage box. You could actually use this box for storing it when you’re not using it. The drone appears very well made and much more robust than other drones i’ve had in the past the four propeller arms fold out from the base, and there is a plastic protective cover for the gimbal housing. The controller is also included in the package. What’S pretty neat. The controller knobs store in the base of the controller so that it packs up nice and compact. Both the drone and the controller are rechargeable using a usb cord. The drone only weighs 249 grams at 250 grams. The faa requires you to have additional training and certifications. The included gimbal mounted camera, takes videos and still photos time for liftoff there’s, no audio on these videos. As the camera does not record any audio, you would only hear the whirr of the propellers as you’re flying it anyway. The drone is amazingly stable, even in light winds, it stays right where you leave it and will hover in place. The gimbal is controlled at the controller. Also, you can take video directly underneath the drone. The controls take a little bit of time to get used to. You will need to add your own mini sd card to record videos and photos.

The camera takes video at 4k at 30 frames per second using its 12 megapixel camera. Its 3 axi gimbal gives you smooth images, no matter how you’re flying in the drone – and it also has a four times – digital zoom, so you can get those up close shots without flying too close. The drone has a 30 minute flight time with the one included battery that came with the kit. You could easily swap out and get additional batteries to extend your flying time. The drone could be flown in winds up to 38 kilometers. The range of the drone is an amazing 10 kilometers. I can’t imagine anyone who would want to fly their five to six hundred dollar drone that far away from them. The controller connects seamlessly with your cell phone using the dji fly app using the screen on your smartphone. You can see the images from the drone in real time. The dji app has some really neat intelligent modes and quick shot functions such as rocket fly away. Circle, boomerang and helix. One of the neatest functions is the return to home feature using the gps on the drone pressing. The button will immediately have the drone fly back to the launching location and land safely without any interaction from you, so that’s all i have for this quick review. I didn’t want to get into it too in depth and i really am still learning it myself. I’M. Really looking forward to using it this summer, so thanks for watching, if you guys, have any comments or suggestions, please leave them in the comment section and please don’t forget to like and subscribe.
