Be sure you answer the Question Of The Day !
Thank you in advance for your great comments !
Thanks for the information, as other have mentioned, waiting for the Phantom 5. I have also checked the availability of the Phantom 4proV2 it is almost not available anywhere?
We need a one inch sensor with replaceable lenses and longer battery life. Maybe they’ll sell the enterprise version.
I don't think a 2,000 dollar plus price range is going to be in demand for the market right now. If it's price lower than that it's going to hurt sales of the mavic 2.
I hope the P5 isn't in danger, but thanks for keeping updated Bill. You're my main source of information on such things And I always value on insight on such matters. Long live the Phantom!
I generally speaking like some of your videos, but for 6000 subscribers, I found it a bit too much to start the video by "…hey fans".
Maybe the Air 2 could be interesting too 🙁
I appreciate your attempts in trying to provide some kind of direction on something as nefarious as the phantom 5.
However I have to tell you I just wasted three minutes of listening to you talk about something all of us already know. So I wouldn’t go here in the future if I were you.
Take the current phantom body, add fold up mechanism to the current legs, and 360 degree yaw on the gimbal. Sold! Upgrade to camera? Maybe just a Hasselblad upgrade?
Leandro speaking from Macae Rio de Janeiro locate in Brazil! How you been?In our opinion so much of people do not investigate the source of information come from internet and not accept the fact that dji nota released an oficial annoucement. Thanks and comgratulations for the channel!
Phantom is dead.
Oxford-sheer. Greetings from a beautiful county!
Well I don’t mind any delay as it stops me impulse buying another DJI drone, I just can’t help my self ???when they announce them I tell myself I fine with the ones I have , but end up ordering one before the presentation has finished ?So anything later in the year is fine. I’m happy for now with Mavic 2 and smart controller. My next purchase will be an Inspire 3 when ever that may be?
I guess only time can tell, also great video as usual
I think it will be released, but it could be coming to the end of it's cycle. They have too many models that are closing the gap on each other. A next Gen Tello will probably by 1080P with a gumball (like Micirdrone 4.0 is trying to do) for under 200.00. The Spark is probably ending. The Mavic Air is 4K and bridges the Gap to the Mavic Pro/Zoom from the Tello with ability and long flight times. The next Phantom will probably have interchangeable lens, but based on flight time, it's large size, and price point (which is near a Mavic Pro 2.). Interchangeable lens on a Mavic 3 make more sense. The Phantom is just too big and not traveler friendly. If you fly professionally you need a larger drone to handle high speed shots and windy conditions. The Phantom can't complete with the Mavic series on size or with the Inspire series on speed, wind conditions, or camera options. For Video Bloggers the Mavic Pro series is a better system and for Professionals the Inspire series is better. I think those two models will possibly squeeze out the Phantom. But who knows. There are obviously a lot of Phantom fans and if DJI thinks they will buy it, DJI will keep making it. I just would not buy one.
My true thoughts is they are mass producing to many models to quickly. The great drone we buy today is old tomorrow. My last purchase, the M2Z will probably be it for a long while. i am not using my drones to earn a living and these drones today are advanced above what i use them for now. And the 4 M2 models they staggered out in months of each other kinda pissed me off hahaha. I mean i bought a great drone, and boom they made my drone even better 2 times over within months of its release. So with me, they can keep producing whatever they choose, which seems to be really diving into the commercial market and right now, i am not at that point. Maybe when i retire in 10 years or if i destroy my MP or M2Z before that time, will i be in the market again. For now, I will just keep my certification up to date because i may do an odd job within my capabilities, stay up on the rules and eventually learn how to use every function of these, for me, 2 expensive drones i now own hahaha. Hopefully you Drone Guru's will also keep using them and keeping us up on how amazing the ones we own now are and not shelve them for the best new thing that comes out.
Would be very sad if the phantom line was gone, which I doubt but it is possible.
Great Info Bill. Was hoping for spring, but oh well. Thanks Bill.
Nice video Bill. Many thanks for sharing
Many of us have had thoughts on the P5, I was really hoping for last year in time for Christmas. (didn't happen) Sources claiming the dismissal of P5 developers could be spot on. Leaked photo's of P5 are more likely the P4E. If you go with the developer dismissal theory and based on the description (leaked directly from DJI) of the P4E that heavily resembles the leaked photo's claimed to be a P5 and add in the comments from a source at DJI about a P4E and the rather sudden disappearance of the P4v2.0. To me that all points to a P4E and no P5. So my thought's are (Spark Pro "No") (P5 "No") (P4E "Yes"). Last year DJI dropped a few good aircraft several aimed at consumer, slightly aimed at prosumer market, So I think they're looking this year more higher end pro and enterprise market.
Great video and information.
Great job Bill interesting subject????
Bill although most of my (everyday) flying is FPV (buiilding and flying) I still fly a DJI once a week. Respectfully does not seem you have any info on P5. My next DJI will be a P5 (or I might sell two of my Mavic Pro and upgrade to mew MP2 with new controller). DJI absolutely positively WILL (in my opinion) improve on the Phantom. I am absolutely 100% positive.
Thanks for these update, Bill! I agree if and when a P5 is released it won’t be for some time. I think part supply’s are DJI’s biggest problem! After the big employee legal findings with those suppliers I believe they’re out of the picture they’re having to find new suppliers. Just my suspicions, thanks!
Sorry, I meant Bill.
Bull, just keep improving on the compact, quiet, amazingmavic 2 pro!!
God! OsetaLV again. Why?
I think (as I have for months) Spark Pro … rumors to start within the next 2-4 weeks. I'm becoming more and more doubtful with the phantom. Maybe create a smaller inspire 1 style frame call it Inspire Phantom ??? I'm still banking on Spark
I don't think that DJI would want it released this date but this could be true
Thanks for the video Bill…who knows which way the DJI wind blows…lol?may God bless you and thanks for your kindness
P5 release will be at the end of this year??? Damnnn that’s far Bill. 🙁
