Wait, the Mavic Air is all over the place at 699eur for the flymore here in EU so they are dumping this product at the moment…. could that mean anything.
This could be a drone with an 180 degree camera capabilities like the Anafi. That’s what they need to deliver Yesterday. A drone without an 180 degree tilt is a bird with a tunnel vision. Then the Zoom and now or next the 180 degree or even 360 capabilities. It is not all about image quality and yes how you can capture all angles to tell a story.
I personally think they need to concentrate on the mavic 2 pro and get a true 1" sensor on it. Everybody still says that the phantom 4 still takes better footage then the Mavic 2 pro. So I am hoping they are improving the camera on the Mavic 2 pro. I am sure they are not going to do that. Just my thoughts

The SPARK does not have the battery on the bottom! I think the Mavic Air does that!

I think you're right about it being a Spark II but i'd love to see a Mavic Air Pro or Mavic Air Zoom! I enjoyed your guest appearance on the CDH . . . you should do that more often!

Parrot wins out in this price range. Their software is better for this market as well.
Phantom Plus ….or Phantom X (if) they have cancelled the Phantom line then they are obviously going to fill that gap. weatherproof …retractable…360 degree gimbal

So Bill, what happened to the end of the Phantom line deal? Did you get a takedown notice? There is a lot of conversation on the taking down of your breaking news post. Are you under an NSA? Why else would you not mention why it was taken down and now you are not talking about it.

Bill! Check out Autel’s tutorial videos. They are coming out with an EVO with a microphone attached, called the EVO Groove! Maybe DJI got wind of it, and are going to introduce a Spark with a microphone! WOW! Wouldn’t that be great??!!
A Spark 2 that is not under 250g would be a shame.
I'd like to see a modular system similar to the Inspire/Osmo or Karma. I don't think that's it though. I'm in the Osmo camp or something cinema related.
Already have a Spark 2 it's called Mavic Air, The battery location don't matter, if you don't lock the battery it's going to fail and the drone will fall. Spark is so small there's no room for a bigger battery to add flight time, So why would DJI make a the same thing as the Mavic Air… THEY WON'T ! ! !

I will be disappointed if they come out with a spark 2. I'm wondering if they are coming out with some sort of 4k cinema camera. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope it's a Phantom 5. I know Romeo said the Phantom series is over, but I think it will just be a Phantom 5. No Pro, No Advanced, just Phantom 5. If DJI doesn't come out with a Phantom 5 then I will probably wait for Autel to come out with an Evo 2 with a 1 inch sensor. If they do then DJI will then have serious competition.
Hey Bill! I’m guessing Spark 2 or they may redesign the frame and call it something else. I think it needs to have 4K, 20min flight time, and be quite, and to achieve all that the frame may need to be redesigned. They could also release a 4K drone that is under 250g to avoid FAA restrictions. This would help the hobby community bypass the current FAA restrictions and may negate the need for 107 lic.
