Hvis du gør det, men i dag, we're going to talk about what's new from toolkit rc, some brand new chargers here that we're going to take a look at but first before we jump into that let's talk about kind of where we've been for the last five to Six years with lipo chargers, i mean we've come a long ways in the last five to six years, i've been using this hobby mate multi charger here this is a beast and it is a power supply and charger all built into one and the total wattage on This guy was 120. I believe it runs off an ac right here, or it actually had a dc input on the side over here from 11 til 18 volt, which was kind of cool but it's gigantic, so um yeah 120, with a 4 up charging slot for up to 6s battery. Right here so uh, but it's a lot of stuff and a lot of leads hanging out everywhere and it's, not super portable it's, not something i'm going to take on the road it's a dedicated bench charger. It has not failed me yet, which is uh. The good news about that one i'll put that one down in the link below, if you guys want to check that one out those are still in stock, men umm.

Also back in the day when i say back in the day about six seven years ago, i was using this super pro 40. Dette er en 40 amp power supply and look at how big this is compared to the m4 from toolkit rc, um it's, all about wattage as well, and what the amperage output the max output is we'll. Talk about that in this video as well, but we also have the m6dand this happens to be one of my favorites, because it has the dual ports on here and this one will do up to 6s batteries. So it also has the option to do ac or you can charge from a lipo in the field which is cool. So if you don't have any power source plug a big 4s 10 000 milliamp in there, you can charge it for us 1300s all day. What i also like about this one is: it has a built in fan. It has a physical fan in here, which is very important. If you're going to do bench, charging, you kind of want to do something that has a physical fan on it rather than something like the heat sink set up. So you want to make sure that there's a physical fanand i believe this one is something with a heat sink in there. I don't see a physical fan on this one, so that might be something to avoid. If you don't have a lot of ventilation, where you do your charging or if you're charging indoors, this one is probably you want to keep it close to the outside of the outside entrance of your house, so you can throw your hot battery out the door.

If you start to hear a fizz by the way, if you're in your shopand you hear this weird little like thatis close to the sound that a lipo will make when it's starting to release gas out of one of the cells and what happens when Oxygen reaches that cell, it explodes so. You usually have about maybe a minute 30 seconds to get that battery outside before it explodes in your driveway. So one thing to think about you might want to build your sand bunker or your battery bunker with cinder blocks for charging. Nu. I also have this m4q here, and this one is four up. I got really excited when this one came in because it has four ports on here. It does have a physical fan built into it. It has ventilation all over it top front and bottom here and in the sides, and what i think is cool about this one is that it does have the option to do your lipo input if you want to charge in the field or your ac input. So you can make it a bench charger. The only thing about this one is that it is only a one to four s charger, so you're not going to be able to charge your 6s batteries on this particular model, so i think that's why. I still think that the m6d is probably the one to get it's a little more portable than the larger big brother.

Even though, as big as this one is, i would expect that this one charge 6s batteries. I mean what do you guys think, and so, if you're looking for your first charger, i would still recommend the m6d. This is a timeless charger that a lot of guys in the hobby like, and you still have the option to be able to run this one on the bench from the wall. If you want to plug this into the wall, you can do that. They make a charger adapter for this one, and the ac adapter is here it's about 20 for this it's name brand from toolkit rc, and it just plugs into the xt60 slot right on the back here and now you can plug it into the wall and make This your bench charger all right guys, so we have all of these on the bench now and let's just start out with the m4q. This is the newer one in the family and it is. It is a built in 100 watt. It says it says: 50, her, ac, 100 og 1 to 4s. der, the screen is actually pretty bright and it shows you four up display of each port, so you can use the selector the channel selector here to go back and forth from each port and change which battery you're charging the type of battery it'll it'll also do Lion if you're wanting to do lions, you can do that i'm just going to plug in this 3s battery here and watch it power up and we are good there.

It shows the battery level right there. So this is your external battery source right up at the top left right here. If you go above 18 Volt, it will go into red and not charge a battery. So you can't go above 18 volts with this one. I was trying to use the toolkit rc power adapter with this, and it would not fire up and it would not charge a battery because it was showing 19 volt up at that top left hand corner right there. So pretty strange, but you do have four control windows here. You can press the channel button it's. Also your exit button, one two, three four right there. If you long press this it'll actually bring you into the system menu which is cool, so you can change your input settings. I was at the field one day and i had a 12 volt solar battery that was charging from and my lowest voltage input on a toolkit, rc charger was actually about. I believe it was above, synes godt om 13 volt for some reason for the default, so i had to figure out why it wasn't charging it was. It was giving me errors and then i went in and i changed it down to the lowest voltage setting. That was a new setting for me on a charger, but i hadn't seen that before and all the chargers i've used, but these do have that option. So keep that in mind. If you get any errors battery selection on, we can turn it off back light.

We can turn up and down which is kind of cool. It goes all the way up to 10 and we can change the buzzer there's different noises for the buzzer. If you want i'm gon na go ahead and press the exit button, though we're gon na go back to channel one there and let's just start a charge on this battery. We have sitting here you need to plug in your balance, lead with the black cable. All the way to the left there and then plug in your xt60 there's a negative side to these ports, so make sure you plug in your lead. If you don't plug it, in correctly, it will let you know so let's go ahead. Now we have auto detect on lipo 3s charge and in the voltage charge is 4.20 afgift, current it's kind of a large battery with charging here. So i hit the start button right there and it's going to say charge to 2.12.6 and that's correct for 3s battery. That will be the final charge and we have all this different information on here. We have the current voltage, which is cool our elapsed time and each individual cell there and you can see it's working on one cell and then the next, which is kind of cool. So it's auto balancing right now showing us also how many amps it's putting in and how much we've added. And if you wanted to add another battery on there, you can no problem.

You can just pull up your port right there plug in the next one and scroll over to which one you want to do next, or you can add a breakout board and be charging up to six at once per individual port. But you can't go past the maximum 5 amp per channel. So one thing to think about with this charger now let's take a look at the m4. This is kind of like the maybe the first charger you ever bought. If you just wanted to charge a quick, 3s 2200 or something like a 4s 1300 – and you really didn't know what you were doing and you just wanted to be able to plug in a battery and start charging, this one is kind of like the next level Up from the b3 charger, i've shown those little b3s to you before it's, like a little plastic box with three leds on it, and you don't have a screen. So this one is nicer than the b3, because the b3 is about 20 watt, and this is a little bit higher wattage on this one and you get a screen so um and also a button there's, no buttons on the b3 it's pretty much fairly foolproof. You just plug stuff in and that's kind of how this one works. So the m4 is like the next level for the b3, og denne ene er, you know the b. I think the b3 is around 10 with no screen and then this one is around 24.

Så, if you're, looking for something that'll, auto detect what you're charging um this one's locked right now and we'll just wait for it to detect it and now it's automatically charging this 3s battery and it detected it as a 3s. And you want to just make sure that it's not charging it as an li hv, an hv battery charges up to 4.35 and that will explode this battery. If i did that, so be very careful that you don't do that this one is charging at the standard. Lipo end of cell rate right there, der er 4.2 volts but that's a pretty easy charger, fairly foolproof and pretty easy to use. The only thing i don't like about this one is the fact that it doesn't have any type of built in fan. It just has that heatsink in the back, but it's kind of a cool it's like step forward in the next evolution of the what the b3 used to be good for this one would be kind of be then the new guy's next b3 style charger with a Screen and a button to be able to play with so you can change what type of battery you're charging so be. Very careful about that and make sure you read the manual about these different voltage settings for each individual cell type of battery you're charging. So this can cause a fire if you get this wrong, very important to make sure you're charging a lipo at the standard, 4.

2 volt an la of hv at 4.35 volt. But again i got to show you the m6d, because this one does have the ports up to 6s with dual port action here um. You also have the option to use those breakout balance boards. We can charge up to six lipos per channel. You are going to be limited to 15 Amp, but this is a pretty powerful charger. Jeg mener 500 watts it's, no joke um. You know this one's 30 watt over here, but it's, an auto charger. Jeg ved, som jeg sagde, like the next evolution of that b3 charger with no screen now you've got a screen and one button which is kind of cool. You can change the battery type on this. One versus the b3 only does lipos. Now this one does lahv and it'll do standard lipos, hvilket er rart, but this one still remains my my charger of choice. Uh for the money. I think this one is just a better value. It'S, a little more portable than the m4q. The m4q is kind of cool that it does have four ports and again like if you're only going to do 4s. This one's not a bad option. I mean it does have the ac put the input there and the um dc input on this side from 10 til 18 volt, so you can plug in up to an 18 volt battery, which would be even larger than you. Godt, you could do you could do a 4s battery on this, nothing bigger or you might blow it up, and you also have a usb port there for firmware updates on that one and i'm not sure if this one actually had a usb port.

So i don't see a way to do a firmware update on here, because this is actually an output if you want to charge any of your devices. But it looks like this one doesn't have a usb output, så um igen, like some cool things about this, one that this one doesn't have and this one's much larger. So you can tell which one i prefer and i'm going to be honest with you about that. But if you're a brand new guy, you can pick up one of these, they are pretty pretty cheap, the m4 that has a power adapter included in the box, which is also kind of nice, but uh yeah.
