NIce. Yeah sims will help. By the way nice 5.0L Josh
Joshua – can you please explain in your shopping list which controllers have a USB port so I could practice the simulator with the same controller I'm flying with? – thanks!
Thanks for posting this, I recently asked the very question you just answered with this video.
Reckon? Hehe.
I've tried the DRL Sim and really like it but have never tried Velcidrone. I'm going to give it a shot! Thanks for the video!
Good subject.. I am subscribed!! oops I am already subscribed long time ago 😀 thanks JB ❤?
5:14 BeratFPV is there to win some races 😀
Berat fpv ????
I have no idea on how to know where to go, have you ever done a tutorial on how to read the markers?
Gg!
I tried a drone sim in steam once and it felt awkward. Can't remember which one it was at the moment. Anyways, I just purchased this one and will try it tonight after work. Hopefully it will go ok.
It would be nice if they added this game to Steam. I have a pretty big library of games and it and origin are the two things I install first after updates and drive when I build new PC's. ?
Great video, i cannot find this track on velocidrone ??
пусть он прыщи на роже вылечит. ну жесть же.
… is drilling into your own arm really a technical difficulty as such? … 🙂 …. to the point and again asuper informative combo with Evan … well timed with your laps allowing for in-depth – really depth – analysis during … 🙂 …. thx guys
Velocidrone DOES have MIDDAIRS Collisions but you can turn them off. I used to fly with them on all the time to simulate reallife..But found that other pilots weren't using it and it only effects the one with it TURNED ON….the other quad is not effected. But it helps learn not to be too aggressive and careless flying
The sims got me to where I am today in racing
At least Evan acknowledges that showing up with the coolest looking quads means something.
8:48 – Yea, that looks safe :p
This was a good one, JB. I've been a lone wolf freestyle pilot for over a year now and I'm fascinated by the community that is out there for racer's.
FPV AIR2 is the best and cheapest, try it!
always have an spare quad (or more) on racedays…
You were racing on 4 blade props ?
Joshua Bardwell you done really good man to get where you did, I recon you could beat him , your chilled when you fly, I really should use a flight sim, look forward to a rematch against Kevin ???
I don't know, I own it but don't really get warm with Velocidrone. I just like everything about Liftoff so much more… You mentioned Rotor Rush in your last livestream and I want to point out that this one is just great and probably even better for practicing racing (it's very race-focussed!).
It's just very expensive, otherwise I would still use it.
The simulator is an image. Fpv is an image. Why have all the expense of quad and goggles when you can race on the SIM?
Hi, Is this track in the standard sim, or do you have to download it ?
You would have won with a JS-1 ?
QUAD DOC!!!!!
I'm really opinionated on this subject. (not offensively, just I like talking about it). No argument that the sim has value, but no argument that it is still not the machine,,,, basically, my opinion summarizes to,,, the more experience you have with the actual machine, the more value you can get from the sim. If you are still inexperienced with the machine, the sim will help you with some aspects of flying fpv, but you will have critical weaknesses, including that you will suffer from "muscle memory" of the sim,,, whereas if you are very familiar with your machine, you will be able to benefit from the practice the sim offers, without suffering from where it is different. (it is unlikely that the physics and dynamics of propellers will be thoroughly modeled enough to "replace" learning the real machine,,, a sim pilot might do VERY well, but will crash out (or just lose time) at times an "irl" pilot wouldn't)
I'm using LiftOff to learn freestyle. Is Velocidrone more closer to the real one?
Wow, this is my first year of racing so how did you know this is exactly the question I have been asking? Going to get off You Tube and download Velocidrone now! -Swampdog!
mustang!!!
All of a sudden you've got a southern accent starting at 9:43. Mind = blown.
Totally you can
Velocidrone vs. Liftoff!
In the beginning of the video Evan said "10 packs of qualifying"? Does he mean over the course of back to back days of racing?
when is qwad camp ?
Karearea Talon PR eh? That's my choice for racing! Handles like its on rails
I should fly more MultiGP tracks on VelociDrone, been flying your yard in LiftOff a lot lately!
Is this version of the course available in stock velocidrone? I have a slightly different version in the "empty grass" scene.
Why Velocidrone and not drl?
bardwell you have to come race with us in velocidrone on wednesdays!!
