Today on the bench we have the new eachine e110. Now this is uh based on the black hornet U.S military spy drone and, as you can see here, its a its a helicopter and weve got a camera on this one. This is a fairly new product from eachine, and it just arrived today, so uh were going to take this out for a flight later in this video should be a lot of fun, so theres some features on the box here, as you can see its uh 14 Plus age group, we have 15 minutes of flight time here it has altitude, uh control, so altitude hold. Now it has one key takeoff and Landing as you can see there. The camera on this one is a 720P HD camera. It also has an optical flow sensor. Here to keep it stable, much like similar to like a GPS, lock, six axis gyro 2.4 gigahertz. Of course we have a couple of batteries with this one. They are modular style battery Ill show you in a second USB charger for channels ready to fly and theyre. Saying its easy to fly so that should be pretty cool for beginners like myself. Okay, so heres on the back, uh weve got a modular battery there, as you can see it just slides in the back. You can see a bit of a view of the camera there as well comes with a nice little uh controller here as well, so uh yeah guys lets uh, take it out of the box and well have a look at what we get.
You can get this one in mode, one and mode two Im a mode two fly, so they sent me the mode two option and on the bottom here its got some more details. It says flight time 15 minutes, uh 100 meter control range and it weighs only 75 grams. Alright, guys this uh quickly opened the box, see what we get with the eachine e110, the black hornet spy drone clone okay and uh well, take it for a flight. Have some fun with it? Okay, guys! First off we have the leaflet for the app here. So, as you can see, you got your IOS and Android uh QR codes. Here you can just download it from Google Play or App Store. It doesnt really say the name of the app on this leaflet here, but it shows you the outlay of the actual app itself uh. If I find the icon Ill put up on the screen right now, what its called okay, the other side is in Chinese, also have the user manual here. You definitely want to have a read of this for the e110. Okay, so well go through everything that you need to know: okay, how to charge it. This looks like it takes four double a batteries and how to control the craft itself, where I go so definitely have a read of that, especially for a beginner or even if youre not just, have a quick, read and show you all the controls.
Okay guys. So we got the charger cable as well USB charger cable for the battery. We have an extra blade for the main rotor here, so weve got spares this bag. Weve got another tail motor blade there, as well as the little uh allen, wrench and a small screwdriver, and here is the second battery guys its a small little uh, one cell 3.7, volt 580 milliamp hour and yeah. So it was meant to get about 15 minutes of flight time out of each battery and weve got two one is actually on the craft itself. Okay, we also get this phone holder here. The alligator clip that just Clips on to the antenna stalk here and then you put your phone in and you can um yeah – have a look at the app as youre flying so yeah. While Ive got the e sheen transmitter here for the e110 in my hand, mods well talk about it, lets have a look. Weve got the on and off switch here, its a very light transmitter. You know very toy grade. The gimbal sticks feel really good. Looks like weve got all our trimmers here on the sides to trim it up. Weve got some labeling there, so theres your auto takeoff and Auto Land and on this side, weve got the speed switch. Now this has three speed modes: okay, one two and three its in the third position: okay, uh, when its all the way to the right and the lowest uh, first speed rate when its uh to the left there; okay, guys but other than that, theres, no other Buttons to press its just basic controls of this one uh four Channel and uh yeah, very lightweight okay, so you should get the job done.
Pretty good. All right guys lets have a closer look at this uh eachine e110. This is a black hornet inspired spy drone helicopter. Here it does look the part guys. It actually is a really good replica of the original military version. I watched a couple of YouTube videos um the other day about the black hornet and uh. It looks like its pretty much the same size as a real deal. You know, weve got the camera on the front there 720p, its just got that lens protector Ill. Take that off, obviously before I start flying, but uh yeah its a really good scaled. Look of the the original here, as you can see, the tile rotor on the back, has a little uh stand. Okay, just stick The Landing there like that, so so its got that little landing gear there, which is cool. Well, stick those Landings and Im not too sure of the motor specs on this one uh. I dont think its brushless. I could be wrong, but I couldnt find any uh information on the actual mode or whether its brushed or brushless. So anyway, weve got some LED lights on the front here. Okay, once you press the button in they light up, thats pretty cool, as you can see, theyre calling these intelligent, smart batteries on the listing, because it does show you the percentage of battery life. You have left okay looks like weve got three out of four, so they do definitely need charging up on the back here.
Weve got the towel LED there for the towel end of the helicopter, so all in all pretty cool. Looking little uh Chopper. It is very lightweight, like I said, its only 75 grams and it is fly barless, as you can see. Theres no fly bar on this one. Okay and uh got a little mini servos here, a swash plate, as you can see, servos control the pitch of The Craft, so yeah thats. Basically, it guys all I have to do now is um download the app onto my phone charge up these two batteries and well have some fun out the field so uh yeah for 85 dollars. I think this one is going for it should be a lot of fun, so uh as always Ill put a link below to banggood if theres any coupon codes Ill, add them in there as well, and you can have a look at this one yourself, alright guys So anyway, Ill meet you out of the field. Well, take this for a test flight see how the camera is and how this uh little uh spy drone performs. Also before I forget, there is the optical flow sensor, camera on the bottom there and we can see the little antenna poking out the back. There almost forgot to mention that so anyway, guys Ill catch is out of the field, as were out of the field. Now, really nice day out here today, I brought the whole box with me: Im gon na test out the eachine e110.
Now, okay, just gon na set it up on the app and well go for a flight. Both batteries are charged ready to go when youre setting it up on the app all right guys. Youve got to look for Century 720P and connect to that all right guys. As you can see, Ive got a screen recording going and were going to have a look at the settings here. Manipulation mode, rocker mode, youve got firmware, update as well Im not going to touch any of that all right. Well, click Start and we have Wi Fi fpv all right there we go okay. So what I want to do first is push both sticks down into the lower left corner. You hear a beep and the actual LED light bar just flashes a couple of times all right guys. So Ive done the gyro calibration all right guys lets uh. Take it up for a fly Im going to click the record button, starting to pick up in the wind now so Lets uh see how it goes. Music, all right, weve got to lift off. Haha camera looks like its on an angle: Ive got it tilted a little bit up, not that much. You can actually tilt it to a 45 degree angle down very lightweight helicopter okay lets bring it down, see how the optical flow works. We had to pick up just as I started, flying its always the way, so it is trying to hold position just getting pushed backwards.
Its pretty quick, so theres a view of the camera, guys Im not really watching the fpv, but I am recording it for you guys to see you use a 720p camera. So if you look at that, its still not too bad its uh holding position fairly decent. Considering the winds pushing it around its such a lightweight craft, the optical flow sensor on the bottom is working. This game pushed around there by the wind. Let me try bring it down a bit Im in third speed right, wow shes, rocking Lets. Uh check might check the auto Landing function, bring it back a bit Im gon na press, the Auto Land there we go. Autoland does work quite well. Okay! Well its a Pity about this wind. Having a pick up right now, when I arrived and set up this uh helicopter theres, no wind at all right, Im, gon na uh, save that recording. So we got something yes Im going to allow it all right. Lets start another recording and this time Im going to use the automatic takeoff button up here on the side. I use the landing one just then, and it will automatically take off all right. Thats, pretty cool cool little flyer does look quite uh like the black hornet U.S military drone, the spy drone like they they tend to call it believe. These ones are on sale at the moment around 80 to 85 dollars, but Im pretty sure theres a coupon code Ill definitely add that in the description guys, youll probably be able to get this for something like 70 bucks.
I think theyre around 80. nice little flyer be a lot better on a Karma day. Ranges need to be about 100 meters. Take it up a bit camera doesnt, look too bad for 720P. You can take photos as well. Fine great lets go to the right. Theyre awesome its flying really nice look at this looks awesome too. Im pretty sure this has supposed to have a uh low voltage alarm as well as uh land itself. If it gets out of range, so cool its very quiet now, the motor, I believe, is a brushed motor on this one. I wasnt too sure at first, but I can tell it is a brushed motor after flying it now so cool see what the yours, like. First, speed right: theres your Lets, uh. Take it down to speed two yours, a bit slower. Nice Lets uh quit that recording, take some photos, so its actually hovering quite well. We need pulling it back a bit, but for a moment there was just sitting there bring it down. Take a couple photos. Thank you pretty cool little spy, drone helly there we have it lets, bring it down again its hovering quite well right now, even in this wind, considering its only lightweight all right, take some more recording, so Ive got a bit of recording to put in this video. So yeah were getting a pretty decent flight time. Its only a small 1S Battery weve got two of them: 15 minutes flight time.
Each theyre saying whoa hows the reverse on this so yeah. Since we got two of them, weve got about half an hours worth of flight time. They dont take that long to charge either take it up there we go pan around a bit. I like the scaled look of this. It actually does look very similar to the real black hornet whoa is the battery flat thats. These two bars theres, two LEDs still showing it might be flat, though see I didnt, hear no uh alarm warning either. Im gon na do a gyro reset hear that beep and lets take it up again and its not flat. I think the wind just took it and messed it up a bit. Controls are pretty good nice and responsive. Oh no Im having a bit of fun here with this one fly this around your yard or at a park like this. Take some video, very quiet too, so its pretty stealth. I guess thats why they call it a spy drone. Eachine are making some really good helicopters. Lately, Ive got the uh e sheen e120 as well. The scaled military helicopter Ill be reviewing that one really soon. These two came together in the mail Im looking forward to Flying that one also its exactly the same price as this as well. So yeah Im really impressed with the fly time. This is awesome to do some flybys here down low Music. What rate am I Im? In second rate, still, foreign fpv is looking pretty good Im guessing thats 2.
4 gigahertz Wi Fi PV as well, not uh 5G. There was no mention of 5G yeah guys if youre interested in this one seems to be a pretty popular product. Let me flick into pyrite. Get this thing. Moving a bit foreign lets. Take it up again seems to fly nice up up high because some decent height with it I mean look how smooth that is so cool whoa. I think the battery did uh run out that time. Okay, I saved that recording because it was on two uh LEDs and it flew for quite a bit longer. Just then so I didnt get no warning alarm Im pretty sure they stated there was, but anyway, its a pretty cool little uh helicopter guys. I enjoyed myself with this one, and I mean look at the flight time. We got that was rather long, Ill put it up on the screen. The exact flight time we got does show that the light on the tile is flashing. So lvc, as well as the front here as you can see, might be able to see that the light bar just there so yeah awesome little uh scaled spy, helicopter drone of the black hornet, so uh as you can see its rather small and compact.
Just like the real thing and uh yeah a lot of fun, a lot of fun and weve got the 720p camera there to take some video as well, which Ill definitely include as a picture in picture. During this video, you can check that out. It didnt. Look too bad and the Wi Fi uh reception was pretty good being that its most likely 2.4 gigahertz Wi Fi. So there you have it guys heres. My review of the eachine e110 says high speed helicopter here.
