I have something new from ifly today. This is a new protech at first you might look at it and think well, another pro tech 25, not exactly. It is an inverted motor version, and this one is the pusher hd edition so top mount battery. It has a mount on the front for a gopro. It can run analog or hd also tbs crossfire on the back. It has 2.5 inch inverted motors on here and props, and it has a pretty strong what feels like abs style frame in combination with a carbon unibody. That’S inverted with this motor, so zing motors all the way around as well and cadx nebula pro on here. Very similar to some of the other power configurations that i’ve seen in the past, but this one is in direct competition to the other inverted motor combos out there like the cinelog 25 from gap rc and so far out of the pack for the inverted 2.5 pushers. This one is the boss. This one is the best one out of all of these that i’ve tested and by the end of this review i’m, going to give you an honest opinion on still, which one is the best. This one should you get, which one is the best out of all of them. Also, the beta fpv 95x v3, as well in the competition and we’re, going to talk about weight, we’re going to talk about durability, we’re going to talk about tune and all that good stuff in this review.
But first i want you guys to subscribe and comment be sure to get entered in for the eachine novice 4. Here in the box, i have everything here in the box: 4 inch quad with gps on the back. It has a tx 12 transmitter with it. A battery charger and everything you need to get up in the air and fly even a pair of goggles in here, and the case is included so it’s going to be free shipped to one lucky winner in july. One lucky subscriber on my channel is going to get this novice 4 so be sure to get entered in for that. But let’s go ahead now before we do a whole bunch of comparison. Let’S go out outside let’s. Do a flight test with the new pusher 25 hd inverted motor, cinewoop version of this quad series. Here we go Music, Music, so Music, so Music, so Music Applause, Music. All right guys welcome back from the flight test, as it sits on the scale right now. The protech 25 pusher hd version is 149.5 grams. The gap rc cinelog is coming in at 130 grams, so quite a bit lighter. The cinelog 25 is quite a bit lighter, and then we also have the beta fpv 95x. This is the v3 version and that one’s even lighter it’s that one’s around 90 grams or close to 100 grams, much lighter. If you want to go super light, the v3 is great.
Now i like the design of this quad, i think that it’s very similar to the other protects out there with that nice durable prop guard setup. We also have access to everything here: ports, wise. We have access to the nebula nano pro here for the upgrading, your vista, and there is a port right there. They also include a 90 degree port for usbc that goes right in there and it comes out here. It did bend a little bit out when i put mine on so i wish they’d had a little more of a cut out here, but what they’re trying to do is trying to keep all that sand and grime off the bottom of this design. But you would be pushing a lot of dust out from under here, but the reason that they make these the way they do is that when you’re, making some cinema videos, an inverted design, really does have a clean bit of airflow under here. There’S no frame obstructing the motors or the props coming down. So all this thrust is coming out and has clean air underneath it versus a traditional quadcopter which will be flipped up like this. It has the frame and there’s a lot of prop wash underneath this. So it’s creating a lot of turbulence underneath the quad, so extra tuning would be required on a traditional quadcopter for the flight controller versus something like this inverted design. But let’s talk about tune on these as well um in the number of of accordance here.
As far as who’s the best who’s, the least tuned out of the box, you know we do honest reviews so i’d say that the lease tuned was probably the pusher hd here. The protect 25 pusher hd was the least tuned, and i thought with this really hard mount here. I mean this is a really solid nice thick tpu mount for the nebula nano here, so it didn’t quite get the vibes out of that camera. Unfortunately, there is a lot more vibes on this one versus the cinelog 25, and i can just put some video up on the screen there and show you a little bit of difference there with the two of these quads and the cinelog 25 was clearly of the Better tuned quad the better flying quad out of these two, this one also being the heavier one out of these two. So this one is still under 250 grams, which is is great, but the cinelog 25 will give you that extra room to be able to put a camera mount up there um and get an external camera on there. Something like a gopro or insta 360 go to as well, and this one also has a better tune than the the putcher 25. Unfortunately, so getting past the tune, i feel like if, if i could tune this one a little bit for you guys and share the tune to the community, that would be a big help to guys that have bought this one i’m glad they made two versions of It i’m glad they made the nebula nano digital version and an analog version for guys that are still rocking the analog goggles.
Now as far as power system on here, we have a very similar power system on here. We have as the gap 25 again. We both have 20 amp yes on here, so we can run 4s on all three of these quads uh respectively. But if you’re a beginner start out on 3s and then work your way up to 4s, we have a 25 by 25 millimeter, sus x d, whoop aio on here as well – and this is the v3 version on here. It’S kind of sandwiched underneath and you can’t – really see it along with those 20 amp esc’s. It also has a burst up to about 30 amp and we’re rocking the 1404 series motors, and these are the zing motors. You can’t really see them that well, but they are black and all murdered out here and i believe those those kv’s on those were 5500 kv and we got the nasgle 2525 props here, they’re a little bit bullnose for those duck designs, kind of a nice prop, But it does look a lot more aggressive than these five blade props, i feel like you might be. You might get a better tune out of your quad. If you tried out the five blade gem fans, i believe these were 2.5 inch gym fans i’ll. Try to put some links down below for these, because these these did well for freestyle and cinema, and it the prop is everything guys better. The prop on the quad, the better it’s gon na fly.
So if you have a really trash prop on a quad it’s gon na fly like trash um, so that’s kind of important. Also, i had a 4s 1100 on this quad and i might have been getting around like four and a half minutes flight time um. But i was doing some sort of maneuvers um some sort of power loop. It will power lube this guy, so like the cinelog 25. Both of these will power loop, but this one’s just better tuned, the cinelog 25 just better tuned, and if you want to smooth everything out, if you’re going for cinema just pick up one of the gocams from iflight, because i think this thing is cool because it Does come with a variety of nd filters in the box, you get three different nd filters and they also have some combos available on the banggood website, where you can pick up all of this together and if you mount this to the very top, it has a Little tpml right here, if you mount this to the top you’re going to get some super epic, smooth, video and in the box, they also have a cable to hook up and the coolest thing about. This, i think, is the fact that you can use either a battery in the back of this camera, like i have here, there’s, also a dummy part that fits over top in case. You want to put in this mount if you’re not using a battery and you have it wired up, there’s the wired port on the side and here’s some extra wire in the box as well.
It goes along with it and three different nd filters in there. We have nd8 in d16 and nd 32, so it gets pretty dark at about 32 and i usually use nd16 most days but that’s pretty cool that iflight released this, because that gives you a little bit of an extra additional option for cinema filming. If you want to go out and do cinema, but if you want to use this as a freestyle trainer as well, this this quad will freestyle all day, which is pretty cool but it’s nice that they also include the mount. So you don’t have to go. Go out and try to find them out. Extra sd card goes in on the side and i believe it supports up to like a 250 gigabyte micro sd card, which is super super cool, and this little trapdoor actually works pretty well in here and it’s fairly simple to operate. You can also set it up inside betaflight and you can go in and change the settings change around the frame rate. You can change the resolution and you can take stills with the transmitter so that’s, pretty cool that you have camera control from this camera. With your transmitter inside betaflight, that’s, pretty sweet, so price on that one yeah i’m, not sure, but i’ll put some links down below to these combos, but so far guys. I think like weight wise, this one’s, not winning any awards weight, wise and it’s, not winning any awards with the tune on there, but i will say it does look hella durable.
It has two strut support here, whereas the cine log has a strut out and then two down, and so this one just has two solid struts, but these are thicker and it feels really really dense. It feels really solid. It has a layer of abs. Over top of this carbon plate on the top here, like i believe, like the v3 here, like the 95xv3, this one has the same style. It has plastic over top and then an inverted unibody here on this one, carbon unibody and the cinelog has no plastic. Over top of this top plate here so, but it does have a carbon bottom plate which is kind of cool, and it has beveled edges for the ducks on the cinelog 25, so yeah what’s, my favorite out of the bunch so far, um still number one. Cinelog 25 number, two, probably the the 95xv3 and then our pusher hd here. So i think if this one had a sweet tune on it, this one would be a huge contender for the gap so but yeah gap just beat them out on weight and the tune that they they brought out from the factory. It is nice that we have the v3 version of the sus xd whoop aio on there on this one. So pretty nice, but they’re all f4 flight controllers here, we’re not up into f7 in this category just yet, but some nice options out there for you guys if you want go back and watch the video again and check out the footage, that’s, just raw footage.
No stabilization whatsoever on this one or this one, so you can go back and watch both reviews and you will see the honest truth it’s all in the video, as i always say guys, so you can see it for yourself right there. You can check out the links down below and don’t forget to comment on this video and subscribe because i’m, giving away the eachine novice 4 coming up in this month of july, happy 4th of july guys, if i miss talking to you, i will see you soon.
