Looks Like a decent drone to me, Not everyone can afford a new Phantom, Thankfully drones a getting cheaper. I would buy this drone.Which is best though this Bayangtoys X16 or the JJPro Mavik 5 Epik?
The JJpro has a camera for 106 quid I think. I am happy with my Bugs MJX3.
I bought an X16 drone, the cheapest version (without GPS), i mounted and calibrated accordingly to the book, but it doesn't even taking off, it's tilting on the left side every time i try to make it fly! I suspect one of the left rotors to rotate slower. What can i do?…
I bought a new GPS model, wanted to run it at home, but the lights do not come on stady because it does not catch the gps mark. I wanted to try to Manuel take off, the engines are working but not taking off.
I hope that the GPS in the open field will work and the lights will stay steady. Last days İstanbul full raın . I suspect the GPS model certainly can not be run on the Indoor ????
hi, When are you going to test Bayang Toys X21 ?
NEWS FLASH!!!!
GREAT news for Bayangtoys X16 GPS owners.
We knew that the "Return to Home" (RTH) button would work in GPS mode. We also know for both Low Voltage condition (LVC) and Loss of Signal (LOS) in GPS mode it would aotomatically perform an automatic RTH.
But I've discovered that when you're in non-GPS mode (i.e. the GPS is turned off) the automatic RTH for both LVC AND LOS is still operating and will return home, land, and shut down the same as if you're still in GPS mode. Also, the RTH button works as well. I tested this this morning and it WORKS!
Note also that if you do an automatic RTH in non-GPS mode, when you re-arm the propellers after the RTH landing and take of again you're STILL in non-GPS mode. I found this out by testing an automatic RTH in non-GPS mode by turning OFF the transmitter and it landed and shut down. When I turned the transmitter back on and armed the motors again and did an automatic take-off, it was still in non-GPS mode.
Hope this helps some of you in using your X16.
Very nice review. I watch your video's (and quadcopter 101) to see what quad I want next on my shopping list.
Two points however:
1. You don't need to worry about breaking the "faux" round antenna on top. It's only decorative and a lot of users have pulled it off to save weight. The GPS is inside of the body shell.
2. It doesn't have "follow me" because that function only works if the tx controller has it's own GPS so the two GPS units (1 in the quad and 1 in the tx) can communicate and stay in alignment relative to each other. One example of this is the Hubsan H501S which DOES have the dual GPS configuration which allows the "follow me".
Regardless, if the X16 GPS flies as well as my original, non-GPS X16, I'll be getting it for Christmas.
Many thanks for the great videos.
plz do the review of of mini mavic
hello alishanmao! are you planning to giveaway your old, still flying drones for those who cannot afford to buy but loves flying drone? Hope u will. thanks! Love your reviews!
Don't know why that is .expensive for the paramotor but can't wait to see the review ?keep up the good work
i dont understand why manufactures keep putting the RED LED in the front??
Nice unboxing and drone?
what quad is that? the orange one
this is almost worth it to buy for the flight controller alone. can you do a teardown video on this? I'd love to see whether it has esc's integrated on the FC board, or if it's got a separate RX chip that can be swapped for something like a Frsky receiver. If it's all separate modules you should be able to cannibalize the flight controller to use on something like a large cameraship.
Hey Ali. When mentioning 'Toy Grade' it's good to "under (some number) Euros and US Dollars" – just ballpark.
So this is under U$200.
A while back you had a DJI Clone for under U$100 – it's part of the 'thinking process' that while calling it a Toy that this cost double what that other one cost.
If I was making a Video and wanted a Quad in the background I'd pick the Clone. If I wanted to actually fly the Quad I'd probably choose this one.
Sometime soon we might hear "Toy Grade, excellent stabilized 4K video, for under U$400" so it's important to give a general category to it.
I only mention this as it's the only thing missing from this excellent Unbox/Flight Review (a review that is more than an unbox and less than a flight – also a great choice).
??
Salam Ali brother, i have 2 of the X16 altitude hold versions, but this one i want also.
greetings to the family.
What's the fan backpack on your right
The crazy thing is commercial "toy" drones are now beyond the point where we were several years ago with expensive professional drones! The market and developers are moving so quick. Very soon the toys will be very cheap but have two way data links, telemetry, gps guidance, gimbal cameras and all the other fearptures we work so hard to integrate and perfect!
thank you for the video my friend.
