I believe that's the fastest I've seen you fly! I've been running a 3" 1104 4600kv for a couple years and it flies plenty fast with 3S 450 mAh, despite being heavier and packing an SQ11, so I'd expect this to rip, even on 3S, with which it could handle triblades.
Your flying is always pretty tame. Would really like to see you push a quad once in a while.
Still would like to see top mounts. I just feel like their better for my preferences. but still tho amazing quad!! and amazing review albert!!
its not really a 'toothpick' any more and imho performance was lacking…
I wonder how long would it have flown if you had kept going, do you have an idea what kind of a flight time you might get with this setup?
my girls said i couldent tuch theses drones couse id be a liar your truly (CP)
would be nice if you show the PIDs use on this review! Always thank you for your efforts!
It figures iFlight would come out with a sweet toothpick. Looks great, love this company!
did not think much of the toothpicks since i saw this, want one!
Best kept fingernails in the for community ??. Way easier to concentrate on what he's showing when his fingernails don't look like he has been digging potatoes like some others I've seen?
Nice review! But i think you have the wrong lipo size. 300mah 4s would be perfekt for a 2-3min race.
somehow i find it suprising that by now even 3" quads are called toothpicks..
I need one
???
I'd like to see a lighter 3s version with 1103s. could run 300-450mah 3s and still come under 100g which is important for some markets to stay in "toy classes" like Australia
Love these 3" under 60 gram micro builds. Long flight times with great power! I'm surprised it's taken this long to promote this class as the next best thing.
Nice review and i had been looking forward to your review as I got one coming in to compare with my other diy ultralight 3". I like the canopy and frame design. Looks sleek to go with the speed.
I would love this frame more if it supported 1404 size motors. My Pickle toothpick with 3" props and 1404 motors is amazing. Beta FPV all in one 12 amp board EOS2 and Cricket nano vtx. FLYWOO 1404s with GemFan 3035 or windancers= SEND IT. Performance through the roof. The Diatone 349 or 369 is still a better performing 3" model. The toothpicks are just cheap to build and really take you on a roller coaster ride. Lots of fun but at this moment do not perform like the traditional high to mid to high end 3" models. From my experience, the 110x class is not the best selection for 3" props.
"ampability"… He he
Not sure if you can call it a toothpick anymore..you whack someone in a park with that, you are going to owe them a whole lot more than an apology….its just an ultralight 3inch.
been rocking the 120rs and 120rs plus all the same electronics smaller form and loving them looking forward to trying it on a 3in format
Excuse me, but we way are beyond a "ToothPick" here, you're looking at a "Tooth Smasher" at the very least…lol
I love this one
Pretty amazing how it looks, Albert!!! ?
Great flying and review!
This looks like it's going to be my next build if the frame is available, pretty efficient 4 mins flight with plenty of juice left, do you think slightly bigger motors like 1106 with 3 blade props HQ 3×3 or gemfan windancers would be efficient?
Difference between a 3inch quad and a 3inch toothpick???
Are they not a lot noisier? Stealth is a prerequisite.
Freaking Wicked! 120$ w/ xm+ YES!!
I have been waiting for this review!!! Now maybe i can get the 120 on sale??
Great quad & Great Review-!!
???
Ultralight 3inch.
Looks like that’s my next order ? great review bud?
I’m glad we’re seeing 3 inch toothpick-inspired quads because I’ve had nothing but trouble with vibrations with the standard toothpick quads. I’m hoping the new HQT3x3 props are better balanced. I really wish iFlight offered a 3S version of this quad because that’s likely the sweet spot. They already make the same motor in a 5000kv offering, so it would be easy to produce.
nice….i love toothpicks there fast af compared to the babyhawk r pro or diatone gtr90 from a couple years ago.i transfered most of my motors over to toothpick
1108 5000kv is the sweet spot .thannx albert !!
